New National Minimum Wage Rates
With effect from 1st October 2011, the National Minimum Wage is increased to the following rates: 16-17 £3.68 per hour 18-20 £4.98 per hour 21+ £6.08 per hour Also, the apprentice rate, for apprentices under 19 or 19 or over and in the first year of their apprenticeship will increase to £2.60.
