Alistair (Big Al) Grant
- Managing Director
- Heads up general practice division
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant
- Joined the business in 1989
Al has a wealth of knowledge and experience and this is invaluable to our clients.
In addition to his role as Managing Director Al is very much “hands-on” in connection with looking after our clients.
Al believes that treating our clients as individuals and ensuring they all receive a personal service is fundamental to the aims of the business.
Outside of work, Al loves his football and is a season ticket holder at a famous Scottish football club (name of club withheld 😊). Al loves socialising with family or friends- telling bad jokes is his speciality over a nice glass of wine or a beer!
Craig Elliot

- Joined the business in 2002
Craig heads up the tax department at the firm, dealing with client’s Self-Assessment Tax Returns as well as providing advice and assistance with all areas of tax.
Craig also deals with new start-up clients, company restructuring and specialises in property taxation, advising clients on the ever changing tax rules in this area.
Outwith work, Craig is a massive Aston Villa fan and when he isn’t supporting Villa he is listening to country music or enjoying a tasting menu or two!
Barbara Ann Scanlon

Barbara Ann and her staff ensure that our small business clients receive the highest standard of service.
Having dealt with client’s financial affairs for over 25 years she has a wealth of experience in the industry to make sure that our clients bookkeeping and administration matters are in safe hands.
Barbara Ann also specialises in online accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
In her spare time BarbaraAnn likes to travel, watch her favourite bands in concert and also enjoys a day away at the races.
